Reporting for Duty - Scent Detection Level I w/Christina
Time & Location
About the Event
6 Weeks, 1 Class per Week
$280.00 + GST
Instructor: Christina Chandler
Class Begins: Friday, July 2 @ 7:30PM
What is it?
Based on SDDA (Sporting Detection Dog Association) rules and odors, this class teaches your dog to identify and detect specific odors in hidden locations. Basically, you get to teach your dog to be a drug dog - just without the drug part! We will have six classes in total, each one hour in length.
Why do it?
To engage with your dog in a fun and rewarding activity that gives you something extra to do together! It's great for the winter months, and any other time too! This is a great way to mentally tire your dog out, requires very little equipment, and provides varying degrees of difficulty.
Who can come?
Anyone who has a dog with a working sniffer! The introductory level is suitable for any dog or puppy that likes to use their nose and likes to eat treats.
Attending dogs must be up to date on vaccinations - including rabies - and must not be experiencing any major behavioural concerns at the time that class begins.
Please email email@example.com if you would like to find out about options for dogs who are experiencing any behavioural challenges so that we can provide you with assistance prior to signing up for a group class!
Space will be limited to a maximum of 6 dogs with one handler per dog.
Please note that a non-refundable $50 deposit is required to reserve your spot in the class. Class cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will be subject to a 50% late cancellation fee. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding our refund and cancellation policy!
We can't wait to see you there!
